Autumn is and always has been my favourite time of year.

I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario Canada. My birthday is in October and that’s when the leaves are at their prettiest. Autumn here in Australia has some pretty colours, but nothing like the colours in Canada.

Hubby and I played in our normal Saturday golf competition yesterday and the weather was beyond perfect.

For the first time in a long time, I played a great game. There was very little I could do wrong.

I came in with 39 points to win the ladies competition. The last competition I won was our monthly medal in March coming in with a net 77.

Hubby and I popped back down to the course this morning to play a few holes before heading to the grocery store to grab a roast to make for Sunday dinner.

We weren’t sure what kind of roast we wanted. We never are until it’s staring at us in the store.

Screaming at us was a nice piece of lamb shoulder.

It’s sitting in a marinade and covered with sliced lemons waiting for the kettle BBQ to finish heating up so we can cook it low and slow for the afternoon.

If there’s anything left over, we will more than likely make our awesome lamb pizza for dinner tomorrow.
